Slow Cooker Meals Made Easy

In this 4-part Tuesday night lesson series, you will prepare a FREE slow cooker meal to bring home with you each week! Learn new recipes with the Nutrition Connections Team from UNH & Plymouth, including  pulled chicken, pasta, egg fritattas, and butternut squash & bean soup. Heidi Barker, Lisa Ford, and Kayla Gould will guide you through each recipe and show you how easy it is to prepare healthy hearty meals on a budget.

March 19: Slow Cooker 101 (Pulled Chicken with Carrot & Cabbage Slaw)

March 26: Start Your Day Right (Egg Fritatta)

April 2: Smart Size Portions- Right Size You! (Slow Cooker Pasta)

April 9: Fantastic Fiber Foods (Butternut Squash Bean Soup)

Slow cookers are available for all participants. Registration includes all 4 classes and is limited to those who qualify for NH Nutrition Connections programs – if you receive  SNAP, WIC, Housing Assistance, Medicaid, or any other public assistance, then you most likely qualify. We can also make accommodations for childcare, disabilities and language translation at no cost, as long as you notify us in advance.
